his experience is similar to the Hawk and Owl Encounter, but it is a full day experience, so you will fly many more birds., which may include our falcons, vulture, or spectacular eagles.

Again, you will handle the birds under the expert supervision of our skilled falconers who will fly some of the more demanding birds for you.

Swinging a lure to a falcon is much more difficult than it looks, and it requires a lot of practice to get the timing just right..

This day brings you in close contact with the most powerful, swift and agile members of the raptor family. The fierce falcons whose deadly pursuit of quarry is performed at high altitude and at high speed, the eagles that soar on thermals scanning for prey, then stoop like missiles from the sky in pursuit of ground game, the hawks that relentlessly pursue their quarry across open ground and into dense cover till the end.

For a day that will help you understand and get acquainted with the world  these birds live in, you could not do better than the Falconry Experience Day, a great stepping stone to the 5 day course that will prepare you for keeping your own bird.
